Challenge
In 2017, only 100,000 out of 15 million Medicare beneficiaries used their nutritional benefit resulting in a .66% utilization rate. The goal of What Is Health is to increase nutritional therapy by staffing registered dietitians in grocery stores instead of hospitals.
Role & Responsibility
I lead the project discovery, business model design, RD & grocery store research, CTP codes analysis, technology needs assessment, and financial model. I worked on this project with Dr. Priyank Sharma and Connor Walsh.
